What super place this is, lovely cosy rooms easy to get to, but out of the way, very nice friendly people running it, most welcoming, and the puppy lab is extremely well behaved and welcoming. Good food and nice breakfast choice, scrambled eggs for me. Would definitely come back here.
Rooms: As I said really cosy comfortable rooms

Parked up for the night after loading up in the industrial estate. Me and another driver went in for a couple of pints, reasonably priced drinks. Food looked and smelt good so will try that next time

Had an overnight stay a while back. The room was ok but it was right next to the bar which unfortunately for us, had a live band. We had a broken nights sleep, but breakfast made up for it!

A fantastic base for getting into Oxford/Didcot and Reading by train. Great for rail enthusiasts as very busy with freight. The inn offers accommodation with a hearty fresh cooked breakfast. Walking to Abingdon on Thames takes roughly 40 minutes depending on how fast you walk.
Great area to observe Red Kites.

We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast. The trains through the night didn't bother me, but I found the pillows uncomfortably firm.

Probably one of the best B&Bs in the country. Location is great. Beer is fantastic quality. Pauline (landlady/owner) is so friendly welcoming and chatty and the (tick the box on what you want) breakfasts are amazing. Rooms are great. Room 7 is my favourite. Locals make you feel welcome. 100% recommend - what else could you ask for.

Stayed here for 2 nights for work, and would gladly stay again. Service was great, and the room was nice.
Very convenient to the station, it's a 10 minute journey into Oxford for about £4 return.
Getting here is a bit of a nightmare for someone that doesn't know the area. I have no idea how the road leading to it is national speed limit, when there's no space to slow down for the very sharp turn into the junction. Just worth a heads up for anyone else new to the area... ignore that speed sign!
Rooms: Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a desk and table.
Food & drinks: Good food, breakfast was really nice, and quick too. Surprisingly, really good coffee too!

Staff, food, outstanding, owner is excellent. Nice to have a pint, something to eat then breakfast in one place. Trains are moisy, walls thinbut cannot fault the service and value for money. Will stay again!
