I used to park here often but my car got stuck in a flood in the car park very recently and this has caused me a lot of pain and money. I blame the car park because the park level is too low. If people are being charged to park here then it needs to be maintained to stop such scenarios happening. I know there is a sign to say leave it at your own risk but come on we live in 21st century. I feel like the council is not living it's values which is how to be even better.

Just over the river near the bridge. Traffic goes at speed. And you have to slow down to enter car park. Sign needs to be more clearer.

Plenty of parking spaces, not particularly wide but suitable for most cars. Good access to riverside walks, slope up over bridge via narrow pavement to access town

My favourite car park to get into Abingdon. It’s about 10 minute walk to get into the centre.

I came here briefly to pick up my son after his DofE. I expected to stay longer than the 30 minutes I did but he finished in good time so I wasted a couple of quid. That’s not the car park’s fault though. It’s conveniently located near the river and a short walk over the bridge to the town. The parking terms are unnecessarily confusing and daft though; they appear to be designed to maximise revenue whilst limiting use.

Ideal car park for walking along the Thames and going into the centre of Abingdon. Up to 6 hours was £4.60 which is a great price

Great overnight stop for Motorhome and great access to town and Old Man Thames

This car park is just outside Abingdon, by the river, but never the less very close to the town centre. It is ideally suited for both a visit to the town, and for a walk by the river, either down stream, or up stream to the lock and perhaps to the archemedies Screw generator a short way beyond.

Large carpark with height restriction. 1st hour free but YOU MUST DISPLAY A TICKET - remember your number plate as the machine’ll ask for it!
